Southern Prohibition Mississippi Fire Ant Red Imperial Ale

Southern Prohibition Brewing, Hattiesburg, MS

8% ABV

Hazy copper/red in color, this Red Ale smells of malt and citrus.  A lot of fruit and malt with a touch of bitterness on the tail end.  It reminds us a lot of a malty Double IPA.  We have not had too many Red Ales to compare this to, but it definitely makes Father Jack more curious to try other Red Ales.

Would we have it again?  To compare with other Red Ales

Would we get a 4-pack?  No…  8% ABV is just too high
