13 Rebels is a hazy, dark amber color. There is a bit of malt on the nose, but only very slight. The isn’t much of a taste up front or on the end, but a lot of bitterness in the middle. Most of the malt is on the aftertaste with a lingering bitterness. It is still fairly balanced though and not overly bitter. It’s a nice change of pace from Fuller’s ESB. This is definitely an American take on an old classic.
