Westmalle Tripel

Trappist Monastery of Westmalle, Belgium

9.5% ABV

Hazy light orange in color with a faint nose of maltiness and Belgian funk.  Tastes malty and Belgian-y.  A big beer, but very drinkable.  Father Jack has been known to drink it until he can barely stumble back from the Grote Markt.  A bit of fruit on the aftertaste.  Our definition of a Tripel and makes us want to brew one one day.

Would we have it again?  Definitely!
