Covington Bayou Bock

Covington Brewhouse, Covington, LA

I’m a Rock n’ Roll Cajun brewer from South Louisiana so I took one of my favorite beer styles and brought it down to the bayou.  Our awesomeness team takes a lot of pride in brewing this one.  Hop into a pirogue with a bag of cracklins and one of these deliciious brews and swig on down the bayou.

6.5% ABV

Clear amber in color and not much of a nose: just a hint of malt.  The dominant flavor is a burnt caramel taste right smack in the middle palate.  Nothing up front or at the end.  Some residual burnt sweetness like the smell of burning sugarcane.  Not much else to it.

Would we have it again?  No
