Southern Tier Brewing Company, Lakewood, NY
Tangier is a hazy golden color. It is labeled as a Session IPA. It is very malty on the nose. The taste is malty and fruity, but there’s really not much to this beer. It should be a pale ale. It’s not as fruity as the name would suggest. It is very light though and you could drink it all day.
We just don’t get the point of Session IPAs. Just call them pale ales.
Would we have this again? No
