Greene King, Bury St. Edmunds, UK
Abbot Ale is dark amber and smells strongly of malt. Malt dominates the palate from the start to the aftertaste. Simple and easy to drink and, in spite of being 5%, pretty light for an ale. We could drink this all day. Reminds us of the Skinner’s Arms, a Greene King pub on Judd Street in Bloomsbury, London.
