Finch’s Sobek & Set Black IPA

Finch’s Beer Company, Chicago, IL

 

8% ABV

This Black IPA is almost black in color.  It smells and tastes like sweet roasted malt.  The roasted malt also leaves a bitter aftertaste.  No evidence of hop bitterness detected, though there is a hint of fruit on the aftertaste.  Very smooth and drinkable for an 8% beer.

Would we have it again?  Yes

Would we get a 4-pack?  Not at 8% ABV
